Shadowlawn homes for sale

This is my introduction to Shadowlawn homes for sale in Virginia Beach.  If you’d like to see an updated list of current Shadowlawn homes for sale, please scroll to the bottom.

From this neighborhood, you can walk to the beach!  Lake Holly and Pacific Avenue shelter Shadowlawn from the hustle and bustle of the Oceanfront, so you’re never more than a quick bike ride away from the fun of the Virginia Beach resort area, but you’re mostly without its day to day headaches.

Shadowlawn homes for sale offer beach fun, but also offer fast access to I-264, fine dining, great shopping, and lots of nightlife.  Shadowlawn is close to Dam Neck Annex, and roughly in between the entrances to Fort Story and NAS Oceana.

The Shadowlawn Community

Shadowlawn feels a bit like Bay Colony or Alanton – it’s a hodge-podge variety of older, remodeled, and newer homes.  Some of the Shadowlawn homes for sale are 1930s era little beach bungalows, some are brick ranches from the 1960s, others are contemporary from the 1980s, yet more are new construction.  Some are landside and some are waterfront.  Lots vary in size, with some homes confined to small yards, while others have grand landscaping.  The streets are shaded by oak trees, pine trees, and palm trees.  All the same, neighbors wave hello as they pass you, and it’s common to see your friends walking by or biking down the street.
