The Little Neck Community
Little Neck is a small peninsula in Virginia Beach due west of Great Neck. The name “Little Neck” is the catch-all for a constellation of neighborhoods, including Bishopsgate, Kings Grant, Little Neck Cove, Middle Plantation, Redwood Farms, and Sea Breeze. From Virginia Beach Boulevard, Little Neck Road is the main thoroughfare that connects the Little Neck communities to the rest of the city.
Originally farmland, Little Neck was slowly swallowed up for development beginning in the 1950s. Construction continues to this day. But unlike other neighborhoods with cookie-cutter floorplans and repetitive designs, Little Neck homes for sale are mostly unique. You’ll find brick Southern antebellum architecture next to a contemporary transitional home. Deep water access criss-crosses the neighborhood, and ancient trees shelter the homes below.
Little Neck is dotted with parks, churches, and elementary schools, and filled with walking paths.
