Beach Borough

Beach Borough, also known as Old Beach, might be the oldest neighborhood in Virginia Beach.  Beach Borough is the collective name to the area between 17th and 30th streets at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

The Beach Borough Community

The homes in Beach Borough are a lovely mix of bungalows and cottages from a bygone era, thrown in with contemporary condos.  Many of them are rented to people who love the beach lifestyle, and it’s not uncommon to see a towel slung over a porch, or flip flops resting on a stoop.  You’ll see lots of bike riders, as well as surfers carrying their boards to the water.  The East Coast Surfing Championships are held a few blocks away every year.

Homes for Sale

Prices cross a wide variety, from million dollar high rise condos all the way to little beach cottages selling for $340,000.
